On Tuesday morning, the Ohio Valley Conference announced that Luca Bartoni has won the OVC Offensive Player of the week for the second week in a row. Bartoni recorded four points in three games last week, scoring a goal in the last two games of the week coming against Blackburn College and Wright State to put his season total for goals scored at four. 

The 6'1 Forward played 207 minutes and recorded six shots with four of them being on target in which the Lions went 1-1-1 overall. In Wednesday's matchup against Blackburn College and Sunday's matchup at Wright State, Bartoni took one shot in each contest with both shots resulting in goals. The 2025 Forward of the Year leads the conference so far this season in shots on goal (7), is tied for first in goals scored with four, and ranks second in the league in points with eight.

The St. Louis native's eight points leads the 2026 Lindenwood squad, putting him 11 points shy of tying his career-high of 19 points, which he set last season. Bartoni and the rest of the Lions will be back in action on Friday at Butler with kickoff set for 4 p.m. CT.
