Kaci Johnson has been named Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week for the second consecutive time following another stellar set of performances for the Lions last week.
Johnson continued to be the catalyst for Lindenwood's offense, racking up 96 assists over three matches for an average of 9.60 assists per set. At the Linda Herman Classic, she helped LU to a .263 team hitting percentage, handing out 31 assists (10.33 APS) against Purdue Fort Wayne and 46 helpers (11.50 APS) against Illinois State.
She also got it done on the defensive end, leading the Lions with 27 digs, including 16 (4.00 DPS) against the Redbirds.
Johnson is averaging 10.00 assists per set this season, which is the highest average in the OVC. She also ranks tenth in the conference with an average of 2.78 digs per set.
Johnson and the Lions conclude nonconference play this weekend at the CEFCU Invitational in Peoria. Lindenwood will face New Mexico State at 10:00 a.m. and UTRGV at 4:30 p.m. on Friday before the weekend finale against Bradley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
