The Lindenwood Women's Rugby team hits the road for the second straight weekend as they will travel to Bethany, Oklahoma to take on Southern Nazarene for the second time in three weeks. Last weekend, the Lions erupted for 103 points in their NIRA season opener against Queens, scoring a total of 17 tries in a 103-5 win over the Royals in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Mia Saige Topasna led Lindenwood with three tries in the match against Queens and 10 different Lions scored their first tries of the season last Saturday. 

Lions Storylines

• Lindenwood is looking to start the season 3-0 for the first time since the 2024-25 season. The Lions won their first four matches to begin that season.
• Ava Reuter and Jennie Weiner are tied for the team lead in tries with four. Lille Merlow and Joselin Roque Lopez are also tied for the team lead in conversions with six.
• LU has outscored their opponents 154-5 through two weeks of the 2026 season.

 
About Southern Nazarene

• SNU dropped their season opener to Lindenwood by a score of 51-0 in St. Charles. 
• The 51 points given up by the Crimson Storm in the 2026 season opener was the most points they've allowed in a match since the CRC National Championship semifinal match where they gave up 31 points to American International College on April 26, 2026.
