Lindenwood:
2017- Scored at the MIAA Indoor Championships by finishing seventh in the weight throw event … had a season-best throw of 16.15m at the Gorilla Classic … at the MIAA Outdoor Championships, finished 11th in the hammer and 21st in the discus … had season-best marks of 35.38m in the discus and 47.35m in the hammer ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was a MIAA Academic Excellence Award winner.
Prior to Lindenwood:
A transfer from Johnson County Community College … qualified for indoor nationals in 2015 and 2016 in the shot put and weight throw, and qualified for outdoor nationals in 2015 and 2016 in the hammer … had best-marks of 12.36m in the shot put, 15.15m in the weight throw, and 45.01 in the hammer.
High School:
All-state … finished second in the shot put at the 2013 Kansas 6A State Championships, and came in sixth in 2012 … had high school best-marks of 12.41m in the shot put and 34.76m in the discus.
Personal:
The daughter of Julie and Joe Augustyn … has one sibling, Kara … an advertising major.
