Chris Emanuel is entering his second season as the Lindenwood recruiting coordinator and his first as the pitching coach. This will be Emanuel's fifth season coaching at the NAIA level. Emanuel is a native of Omaha, Neb.
From 2005-2007, Emanuel coached at Omaha Burke High School and Millard West High School in both spring and American Legion seasons.
In 2007, Emanuel joined the staff at Bellevue University, where he was the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for three years under coach Mike Evans. From 2007-2009, the Bruins compiled a record of 140-44. Bellevue made two NAIA World Series appearances, including a third place finish in 2007.
In 2008, the Bruins staff ranked in the top ten in the NAIA in six major pitching categories. In his three years as pitching coach, the Bruins had three pitchers selected in the MLB draft, and multiple players sign free agent or Independent contracts.
Emanuel has also spent the past two summers as the pitching coach for the Chillicothe Mudcats of the MINK League. In two seasons, the Mudcats won two MINK League North Division titles and the overall MINK League Championship in 2009.
In 2009, the Mudcats set a franchise record for wins and won their first ever game in the NBC World Series. The Mudcats appeared in the NBC World Series both seasons Emanuel was on the staff.
Emanuel is a 2001 graduate from Omaha Burke High School. In 2000, Chris led the Bulldogs to the 2000 Nebraska Class A State Championship. He was selected first-team All-Nebraska, first team Super State and first team All-Metro. Emanuel played two years for Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kan. He then returned to Omaha to play at Bellevue University.
Emanuel received his B.A. in Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Chris is currently finishing his M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning at Lindenwood.
