Lindenwood University Athletics

Timothy Velten is entering his first season as a graduate assistant for the Lindenwood Lions men’s soccer team.

Currently Velten is the head JV coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Webster Groves.

During his playing days, Velten played professionally for AC St. Louis, the Harrisburg City Islanders, and the Charleston Battery.

In college, Velten started his career at SIU-Edwardsville, where he was the 2002 Great Lakes Valley Conference Freshman of the Year, and was a 2003 first team all-conference. After SIU-E, he transferred to the University of Louisville.
