Jesse Politowski is in his sixth season as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Lindenwood in 2014. Politowski coaches transition and face-offs, and assists with the team’s defense.
In 2013, Politowski helped Lindenwood have a second straight winning season at the NCAA Division II level with an 8-5 record. Lindenwood led the ECAC in faceoff winning percentage with a 63.7 percent mark, and had the fourth-best mark in NCAA Division II. He helped Graeme Hossack earn first-team All-ECAC honors at the long-stick midfield position and Mike Meagher was a second-team All-ECAC pick at defense.
In 2012, Politowski helped Lindenwood record a winning record in its inaugural season against NCAA competition. Lindenwood was the top team in the WILA and one of the top teams in NCAA Division II on faceoffs as it won over 60 percent. Defensively, the Lions allowed just over eight goals a game. Politowski helped faceoff specialist Richard Wilson and defender Grame Hossack win first-team all-conference honors, and two other defensive players were also honored on one of the all-conference teams.
In his first three seasons at Lindenwood, the Lions recorded a 52-13 record at the club level. In 2009 and 2011, the Lions won their conference tournament and advanced to the MCLA National Championship.
Politowski started his lacrosse career at DeSmet Jesuit High School and finished it at Lindenwood. Politowski from Lindenwood in 2006.
