Kyle Friesenhahn is starting his season season as the head diving coach for the Lindenwood swimming team in 2012-13.

In his first year as a full-time assistant coach, he Friesenhahn was named the Liberal Arts Women's Diving Coach of the Year. He helped his divers set three new school records throughout the season.

Friesenhahn was the swimming program's graduate assistant in 2009-10 and was part of the coaching staff that was named Coach’s of the Year for the NAIA and Liberal Arts Conference. He would later become a volunteer assistant coach for the 2010-11 athletic year.

Friesenhahn was a member of the NJCAA swimming and diving team at Palo Alto Community College, where he earned a three-meter diving honorable mention All-American status in 2006 and participated two years at nationals. Friesenhahn then transferred to Lindenwood for two years where he earned NAIA honorable-mention All-American, All-Academic and placed fifth in the 1m and 3m in 2009.

While attending Lindenwood, Friesenhahn obtained his bachelor’s degree in mass communications and his master’s degree in 2010. Along with coaching at Lindenwood, Friesenhahn has been the co-head diving coach at Fort Zumalt South since 2009.
