Joe Deimeke is in his second season in 2015 as an assistant coach for the Lindenwood men’s volleyball team.

In his first year on the Lindenwood coaching staff, he helped the Lions go 19-12 overall. Lindenwood had a 15-1 regular season non-conference mark and won four matches in the very competitive Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.
 
Deimeke joined the Lindenwood program after spending four years playing professional volleyball in Europe. Most recently, he helped the RWE Volleys in Bottrop, Germany win the 2013 Deutsch Second Bundesliga Championship. In 2012, Deimeke reached the Deutsch 1st Bundesliga quarterfinal with Evivo-Duren.
 
As a member of Boldklubben Marienlyst, Deimeke won back-to-back Danish League Championships in 2010 and 2011. He also played on the 2011 Danish Cup Champion and 2010 Nordic Champion teams. Deimeke was named a 2011 Danish Dream Team All-Selection.
 
While playing in Europe, Deimeke also gained four years of club coaching experience. He was the youth volley coach in Bottrop, Germany in 2012-13. Prior to that, Deimeke was the Tarup men's volleyball club coach in Odense, Denmark in 2010-11. He also served as the 15 & under youth volley coach in Odense from 2009-11.
 
Deimeke played four years of collegiate volleyball at Lindenwood from 2005-2008. Deimeke was part of three NAIA Final Four appearances. In 2007, he earned NAIA All-American honors.
 
Deimeke played high school volleyball at DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis. Deimeke was a two-time all-state selection and was named the 2004 St. Louis Post-Dispatch Player of the Year.
 
A native of St. Louis, Mo., Deimeke graduated from DeSmet in 2004. He earned his bachelor's degree in business communication from Lindenwood in 2008.
