Lydia Elking is entering her second year as an assistant coach for the Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer program. Elking will be helping out with both the varsity and the junior varsity teams.
Elking played her collegiate soccer at Lindenwood and was a four year letter winner. She was named to the first team All-HAAC in 2008 and the second team in 2006 and 2007.
Before coming to Lindenwood Elking attended Ursuline High School, where she was a standout on the soccer team and also played basketball.
Other than her duties at Lindenwood she coaches two U-14 boys soccer teams and a U-12 girls team for the Lou Fusz Soccer Club while also helping out with the JV and varsity soccer teams at Ursuline. She is also a member of the Scrubs soccer team.
Elking holds her bachelors degree from Lindenwood in Physical Education and is working on her masters in sports management.
