2011-12 - Competed in the 50 free, 100 fly, and 100 free at the Liberal Arts Championships, with her best finish coming in the 100 fly in 15th place.

The daughter of Lisa and Mark Markel ... has a younger sister, Valle ... majoring in early childhood special education.
