Biography

Chris is a 10-year old from O’Fallon, Mo.  He was diagnosed with a form of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in May of 2018 and began a three-year chemotherapy protocol shortly after his diagnosis.  Since then, he has spent about 20 days of inpatient care and three-to-five days per week in the outpatient chemo clinic at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  The long and difficult journey has weighed heavy on the family, but Chris has responded well so far and his most recent PET scan showed the cancer is gone!
 
His parents, Kelly and Phil, admire his strong spirit and are happy his twin brother Nathan is right there with him. 
 
“Chris is a tough, brave, and kind 10-year old kid with a great sense of humor,” said Kelly.  “His twin brother Nathan is looking forward to the Team IMPACT experience as well.  They are interested in learning more about wrestling and being involved with the team.”
 
The two boys have an older cousin who attends Lindenwood which has added to the excitement of being around campus.
 
Chris enjoys Star Wars, Legos, sports, water activities, music, and traveling.  His favorite bands include Coldplay and Imagine Dragons.  His favorite vacations so far have been a Caribbean cruise and the Great Wolf Lodge.  For his Make-A-Wish trip, Chris and his family will be going to Switzerland in the summer of 2019.
