Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Begin Their Season

The Lindenwood Lions men's and women swimming and diving teams participated in their first meet of the year in Columbia, Missouri at the Show-Me-Showdown against mostly NCAA Division I schools.

In the women's meet the Missouri Tigers would win the meet with 382 points and the Lions would finish in sixth with 147. The Ladies were led by Jessica Reinitz who finished in ninth place in the 50 yard butterfly. In the 400 yard medley relay the Lady Lions would finish in sixth place.

On the men's side the Lions would finish with 157 points which would place them in sixth place. Leading the way for the Lions was Sergio Molina who finished in second place in the 50 yard breaststroke which scored 15 points in the team race. Molina also would finish in the top ten in the 200 yard individual medley. Simon Morley would finish 10th in 100 yard backstroke that would score the Lions nine points.

Up next for the men and women is the Rose Hulman Relays in Terre Haute, Indiana.
