Storyline
Last weekend the Lions played their first two conference games of the season and fell in both of them. This week the team will have a chance to get some redemption as they will have four games against HAAC foes.

Last Week's Results
For the first time in 2010 the Lindenwood baseball team took on a HAAC foe. Game one started with Benedictine jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning. The Lions did not go away, cutting into the lead in the bottom of the fifth with two runs. With Lindenwood trailing by a single tally in the bottom of the sixth Shelby Anderson connected on a long home run to tie the score at three.

With the game tied at three in the top of the seventh Benedictine was able to scoot across a run to give them a 4-3, which they would hold onto for the win.

The second game of the day was a 1-0 win for the visiting team. Lindenwood could not get anything going at the plate only compiling just five hits. Evan Vinyard started on the hill for Lindenwood and gave up just one run on six hits.

Next up was a non-confernece match-up against the Harris-Stowe Hornets. The Hornets jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. But that lead would not last long as the Lions would score three runs in the second inning and three more in the third to take a 6-1 lead. Harris-Stowe was able to push across three runs in the sixth to cut the lead to two but that as close as they would get.

The final game of the weekend started with the Lions scoring runs in the first two innings. But the Hornets came back to take the lead in the top of the third with three runs. With the Lions trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, the offense exploded for five runs to take a 7-3 lead. Lindenwood would tack on another four in the bottom of the sixth capped off by Frank Corpus bases-loaded double that cleared the bases.
