Toriano Adams Receives Award From Dr. James D. Evans

Lindenwood University president Dr. James D. Evans presented men's basketball player Toriano Adams with his plaque today for being named a 2010 NAIA honorable mention All-American.

Adams received that honor for the second straight season. During his senior season, he averaged 11.6 points and 9.7 rebounds a game. He was one of the top rebounders in the NAIA, ranking sixth in rebounding average and fifth in offensive rebounding average. Adams had 16 games with double-figure rebounds, 20 games with double-figure points, and 12 double-doubles.

Head coach Brad Soderberg was also in attendance at the presentation. Adams and Soderberg helped Lindenwood achieve one of its top seasons in school history, winning 23 games and advancing to the HAAC Tournament championship game for just the second time.
