The Lindenwood men's soccer team picked up its first road victory of the season and moved to 4-1 overall with a 3-0 victory over Harris-Stowe on Wednesday.
The Lions dominated play, outshooting the Hornets by a 20-2 mark, including an 11-2 mark on shots on goal.
Despite the lopsided shot numbers, it took over 43 minutes before Lindenwood was able to take the lead on a goal by
Alexander Rivera. The Lions then put the game away with two goals within a one minute span in the second half.
Tiago Baptista Pereira scored in the 61st minute followed by Rivera's second goal 48 seconds later.
Victor Francoz earned the win in goal after making two saves in 77:32 minutes of playing time.
Hugo Maradiegue completed the combined shutout for the final 12:28.
Lindenwood heads to Indiana this weekend for contests against Oakland City and Cumberland.
