The Lady Lions soccer squad struggled in a matchup on Wednesday night against NCAA Division II Quincy, falling by a 4-0 score.

Quincy jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the ninth minute. In the second half, Lindenwood was outshot 12-1 and the Lady Lions gave up three more goals. For the game, Quincy had a 20-3 edge in shots, a 7-1 lead in shots and goal, and 3-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Whitney Calvin took the loss in goal, making three saves and allowing four goals in nearly 73 minutes. Katie Snow played the final 17:12 and did not face a shot. Bailey Cody had the lone shot on goal for Lindenwood.

With the loss, Lindenwood falls to 2-3 on the season. The team is now off until Sept. 23 when it travels across the Mississippi River to take on rival McKendree.
