The Lindenwood men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in the Lindenwood Quad Meet against Missouri State, Saint Louis, and Illinois Tech. The men finished in second place with a total of 85 points, 102 behind first place Missouri State. The Lady Lions finished in third place with a point total of 69.
Leading the way for the men's squad was Uba Zavaleta, who won the 200 and 500 yard freestyle events. Javier Hernandez also finished in the top spot in the 100 yard butterfly. The 800 yard freestyle relay team finished in second place with a time of 7:06 just one second behind winner, Missouri State.
Sarah Billamosa led the way for the Lady Lions finishing in third place in both the 200 yard backstroke and 400 yard individual medley. Kaci Dowdy finished in second place in the 50 yard freestyle and Kiana White placed third in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Next up for both the men and the women is a dual meet against Principia College on January 29.
