Men's Swimming & Diving (Discontinued)

Swimming and Diving Teams Dominate Panther Invitational

The Lindenwood men's and women's swimming and diving teams both competed at the Panther Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Both teams finished in first place out of three teams. The men's  team totaled 861 points, which was almost 300 more than the second-place team. The women's team also placed in first with a point total of 389.

The men's team started off the meet winning the first nine events led by Ramunas Paknys, who won the 100 yard backstroke and the 200 yard backstroke. The Lions also closed out the meet winning the final five events. Colin Sharpe was also a two-event winner, winning the one and three meter diving events.

The Lady Lions were led by Kiana White, who won three events. She won the 400 yard individual medley, and the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke. Teammate Kay Rosenhauer won both the 200 and the 500 yard freestyle events. Sarah Billamosa won the 100 yard butterfly and Kaci Dowdy was victorious in the 100 yard backstroke.

Next up for the swimming and diving programs is the Principia College Triangular next weekend.
