Box Score The Lindenwood Lions men's soccer team continued its four-game winning streak on Tuesday night after a 1-0 win over Harris-Stowe at Hunter Stadium.
It was all Lindenwood from the opening whistle. The only problem was even though the Lions were dominating play they could not get a shot by Hornets' goalie Colby Poindexter.
The game headed into the half tied at zero. Finally, in the 57
th minute Tiago Pereira capitalized on a corner kick and gave the Lions a 1-0 lead. That was all the scoring in the game and Lindenwood extended its winning streak.
The Lions outshot the Harris-Stowe 24-2 with an 8-1 margin in shots on goal. Franc Sanz started in net for Lindenwood out recorded the shutout.
With the win the Lions improve to 8-7. Up next is a road game against Truman State on Sunday afternoon.
