Box Score The Lindenwood men's soccer team finished its season on Monday night with a 2-0 win over Missouri Baptist.

The opening half was a defensive battle. Neither team could dent the scoreboard in the first. With the game scoreless the Lions would strike first. Just nine minutes into the second half Ignacio Pizarro scored to give Lindenwood a 1-0 lead.

The Lions added to the lead in the 63^rd minute after Tiago Piera scored. The 2-0 lead held up for the rest of the game.

Patric Brown started in the goal for the Lions and recorded his first shutout of the season.

Lindenwood finished the 2011 season with a record of 10-8.
