The Lindenwood field hockey team fell on the road at Hendrix in Conway, Arkansas on Sunday afternoon by a score of 4-1.

The Lady Lions struck first once again with a goal by Maria Schafer six minutes into the game. Lynsey Porter provided the assist. The Warriors tied things up at the 11 minute mark and that's how the teams went into halftime.

The game stayed at a deadlock until Hendrix scored with 12 and a half minutes remaining. The home side scored again a minute later and added a fourth goal with five minutes left.

Samantha Brown got the start between the pipes for Lindenwood and registered four saves. The Lady Lions won 12 penalty corners to Hendrix's seven. But the Warriors outshot the visitors 12-4.

Lindenwood is next scheduled to face Missouri in a scrimmage at Hunter Stadium on September 11th.
