Box Score The Lindenwood Lions men's basketball team returned home to the Hyland Arena on Thursday night and rolled to a 106-52 victory over the Central Bible Spartans.
From the opening tip, the contest was all Lindenwood. The Lions started the game off on a 13-2 run and ended the first half leading 48-29.
To start the second half, the Lions exploded out to a 32-4 run extending the advantage up to 47. Lindenwood dominated the play down low as well. The Lions scored 48 points in the paint, compared to Central Bible's 26.
Lindenwood shot 59 percent from the field and 46 percent from behind the arc. The Lions forced 21 Spartan turnovers and turned them into 38 points and outrebounded Central Bible 36-31.
Kramer Soderberg, Garret Reeg, and
Tyler Ressel all led the team in scoring with 16 points.
Michael Boos pitched in with 11 points and
Darris Smith scored a career-high 10.
Efkan Eren, Reeg, and
Cody Sorenson all had six rebounds to lead the team.
With the win the Lions have now won 11 games in a row and are 14-1 on the year. Up next for Lindenwood is a road game against Mid-Continent on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
