Box Score The Lindenwood field hockey team shut out Hendrix College 3-0 in its first home game of the season Wednesday night.

Wednesday's game was the second contest between the two teams within ten days. Lindenwood prevailed in the first meeting at Hendrix College with a score of 4-0. The Lady Lions picked up where they left off in Conway, Ark. with a dominating first half at Hunter Stadium. Lindenwood's first tally came 18:52 in with a goal by Lynsey Porter. Porter's goal was assisted by Kristi O'Connor and marked her fifth goal of the season. Lindenwood outshot Hendrix by a 10-2 margin in the first half but only two reached the net.

Lindenwood increased the margin two minutes into the second half off a penalty stroke by Kristi O'Connor. The goal was O'Connor's 9^th of the season and she leads the Lady Lions with 23 total points this season. Emily Scanlon provided some insurance for Lindenwood with her first goal of the season.

Porter and O'Connor both recorded three points in the 3-0 victory. Victoria Gil started her 9^th game of the season and recorded her 3^rd shutout.

The Lady Lions are now above .500 on the season with a 5-4 record. Lindenwood will be back at home this Friday at 4:00 p.m. as they host Limestone College.
