Box Score The Lindenwood field hockey team defeated Bellarmine University 3-1 its final home game of the season Saturday night. Seniors

Kayleigh Harrower and
Lynsey Porter were all honored before the game as part of the team's senior night celebration.
The Lady Lions struck first midway through the opening half when Porter scored her sixth goal of the season off a penalty corner from
Kristi O'Connor. The lead would not last long, however, as Bellarmine's Meghan Williams scored on a breakaway with two minutes remaining in the first half.
The Lady Lions regained the lead in the second half when Harrower scored her second goal of the season off another feed from O'Connor with 13 minutes to play in the game. Lindenwood added another late goal with 53 seconds left when O'Connor assisted
Jenna Skrinak on a breakaway for her first goal of the season.
Lindenwood outshot the Knights 17 to 10 but only four reached the net.
Victoria Gil was in net for the Lady Lions and recorded five saves in the game.
The win brings the Lady Lions' record to 6-6 overall and 2-2 at home. Lindenwood will be back in action October 20
th when they travel to Mercy College.
