The Lindenwood men's volleyball team defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday afternoon in straight sets. The Lions won by scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-15.
Austin Tudor came off the bench to provide a spark for the Lions and lead the team to a victory. Lindenwood trailed midway through the second set but Tudor had five kills in the second half of the set to help the Lions get the win. His fifth kill in that second set was on set point. In the final set, Tudor had three kills and Lindenwood scored nine points while he was serving.
Tudor finished with team-highs of eight kills, two service aces, and a .583 attack percentage. He also had four digs and one assist. Five other Lions had four or more kills in the match, including
Logan Jarus who was five-for-five attacking.
Tim Schmidt led Lindenwood with 31 assists,
JM Plummer had a team-high eight digs, and
Jack Mitchell and Jarus both had three blocks.
Lindenwood improves to 7-4 with the win. The Lions will face Carthage, the No. 1 team at the NCAA Division III level, on Sunday afternoon.
