Men's Lacrosse Concludes WILA Play With Win

Box Score The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team finished its first and only season of WILA play on Wednesday afternoon with a 10-3 victory over Adams State at Hunter Stadium. The Lions, who will join the ECAC next year, finished the conference season with a 4-4 mark.

The Lions controlled possession for most of the game which allowed them a 37-21 advantage in shots. Adams State managed just 10 shots on the goal for the game and never scored more than once in a quarter.

Jake Redlingshafer played the majority of the game in goal and made seven saves while allowing just three goals. Grame Hossack led the team with 11 groundballs and he caused five turnovers.

Offensively, Greg Cameron led the team with two goals and an assist. Carter McCracken also had three points and Andrew Peterson scored twice. John Pettis and Hossack each had one goal and one assist.

Lindenwood goes to 7-5 on the year with the victory. The Lions will be in action again on Saturday at noon with a contest against Wheeling Jesuit.
