Lions Fall To 0-3 Against Nationally-Ranked Teams In 2012

The Lindenwood men's volleyball team had its worst offensive night of the season on Wednesday in Chicago. The Lions fell to No. 15 Loyola by scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-11.

Lindenwood hit under .100 for the match, while Loyola was over the .340 mark. Loyola had 40 kills compared to just 21 for the Lions, and Lindenwood had more attack errors than the Ramblers.

Scott Siwicki led Lindenwood with 10 kills and he hit .368 for the match. No other Lions player had more than three kills in the contest. Tim Schmidt had a team-high 19 assists and seven digs, and Logan Jarus led the Lions with four blocks.

Lindenwood, which is now 17-13 on the season, is off until April 14 when it hosts Ball State. That match is Senior Night and the final home match of 2012.
