Box Score The Lindenwood field hockey team fell to the University of Indiana Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-1.

The first goal of the match did not come until there were 17 minutes remaining in the contest. The Hawks took a 1-0 lead off a redirected penalty corner shot at the 53 minute mark. The Hawks tallied its second goal three minutes later putting the Lady Lions in a 2-0 hole. Lindenwood answered with a goal by Kristi O'Connor with 10 minutes remaining but would fall short of tying the match.

Victoria Gil got the start in goal for Lindenwood and registered nine saves. The Lady Lions were outshot 11-3 on the match.

Lindenwood is now 1-1 on the season and will face Kutztown University tomorrow in Louisville, KY. at 10:00 a.m.
