Box Score The Lindenwood field hockey team was on the road again Sunday afternoon and failed to find the back of the net against Slippery Rock University, falling 1-0.

Slippery Rock scored the lone goal of the game with five minutes remaining in the first half. The Lady Lions were outshot eight to two in the first 35 minutes.

Coming off a 6-0 shutout victory against Mercy College, Victoria Gil kept Lindenwood in the game by saving nine out of ten shots on goal. The Lady Lions could not find the back of the net, however, marking the first game this season Lindenwood failed to score a goal in regulation.

The loss drops the Lady Lions to 3-2 and they will be back on the road September 16^th to face Ball State University.
