The Lion swimmers and divers won their meet Saturday against Rose-Hulman IT. The men prevailed by a score of 144-98, while the women won 166-55.

A number of swimmers and divers had very successful individual competitions. Three Lion swimmers finished with multiple first-place awards. Nufar Zilber won both the women's 50 and 100-Yard Freestyle races. Teammate Audra Thornton won the 100-Yard Butterfly and the 500-Yard Freestyle. For the men's team, Ivars Akmentins recorded first-place finishes in the 50-Yard Freestyle and the 100-Yard Backstroke races.

After winning the NSIC Diver of the Week award for the second time this season, Lion diver Michelle Bell capped off her week by winning both the women's one and three-meter dives.

Lindenwood also won first-place in three of the four relay races at the meet. The women's team won the 200-Yard Medley Relay and the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay. The men's team also earned first-place in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay.

The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams will be back in action February 7^th to compete in the NSIC Conference Championships.
