• Not only are the Lions leading the conference in field goal percentage they are tops in four other categories. The team is first in scoring (80.5), scoring margin (+13.7), rebounding margin (+9.8), and defensive rebounds a game (29.0).
• This season's roster consists of five seniors and those seniors are leading the way. The group is scoring 67 percent of the team's average points per game.

Richie Thompson has led the team in rebounding nine times. He has also led the team in blocks seven times.
• The Lions have made at least five threes in every game but once this season. The season high in made threes was 12 against William Woods. The last two games the team has made 15 threes.

Alex Bazzell has been the Lions go to scorer so far this season. He has led the team in scoring in nine-of-14 games.
• Earlier this season, Bazzell scored his 1,000 career point as a Lindenwood Lion. He becomes the ninth Lion in program history to reach the milestone.

• Over the past two seasons, the Lions have seen overtime numerous times. In 2011-12, the team played three overtime games. The team has already played in three over time games. The Lions have a 2-4 record in overtime since last season.
• Head Coach
Brad Soderberg keeps adding to his overall win total and has now won 301 games in his career.

• The Fort Hays State Tigers enter the contest with a record of 10-5 overall and 4-3 in MIAA play. The Tigers are coming off a 72-69 loss to Pittsburg State. Fort Hays is 3-3 on the road this season.
• As a team Fort Hays is averaging 77.7 points a game on offense and is surrendering 64.6 points on the defensive side of the floor. The Tigers are shooting 47 percent from the field and 29 percent from behind the three-point line.
• Fort Hays is led by four Tigers that score in double figures. Dwayne Brunson leads the team with 15.2 points a night followed by Lance Russell with 14.2. Ben Congiusta also chips in with 13.5 and Craig Nicholson chips in with 13.1.
• Mark Johnson is the head coach of Fort Hays and is in his 11th season at the helm.
