Women's Hockey Travels To No. 2 Wisconsin

Series Notes
- Lindenwood has the back end of its four-game road trip this weekend with a series at Wisconsin. The Lady Lions and Badgers will play at 7:07 p.m. on Friday and 2:07 p.m. on Saturday.

- The Lady Lions are playing their final tuneup before starting College Hockey America play. Lindenwood enters play this week with a 0-7-1 record on the year.

- Wisconsin is currently 4-2-0 on the season. The Badgers will be playing their first non-conference games of the year.

- The Badgers are ranked second in both national polls. It will be the second-highest ranked team that Lindenwood has faced in its NCAA history, behind only the 2011-12 Wisconsin squad that was ranked first when it played the Lady Lions.

- Lindenwood is 0-4-0 all-time against Wisconsin. Last season in Wentzville, the Lady Lions lost by scores of 7-2 and 9-1.

- The Lady Lions are 0-2-0 all-time against the Badgers in Madison, Wis. The two games they played in Wisconsin were the inaugural games in the program's NCAA history.

- Lindenwood is 0-4-0 this season on the road, while Wisconsin is 4-0-0 on its home ice.

- Among current Lindenwood players, Alyssa West and Kendra Broad have scored against the Badgers. Alison Wickenheiser has two assists versus Wisconsin.

- Nicole Hensley had a .851 save percentage and a 5.90 GAA in over 71 minutes of action against Wisconsin last season.

- Lindenwood had a 2-0 lead over Wisconsin after two goals in the first 3:25 of game one last season. It was the largest lead the Lady Lions have held over a nationally-ranked team.

A Look Back At Bemidji State
- Lindenwood's losing streak reached six games last week after Bemidji State swept the Lady Lions by scores of 5-0 and 4-1.

- Bemidji State outshot Lindenwood 45-14 in game one, and put the game away with two goals in the first period and three in the second period.

- Game two was tied 1-1 after two periods, but Bemidji State scored back-to-back shorthanded goals in a 35-second span for the winning scores.

- Katie Erickson had Lindenwood's only goal in the series with a power-play score. Carrie Atkinson assisted on the goal.

- The Lady Lions were one-for-10 on the power play in the series, while Bemidji State was two-for-eight.

- The shutout in game one of the series marked the first time that Lindenwood did not score a goal in a game this season.

- The 86 shots that the Lady Lions allowed in the series was the second-most allowed in a series in 2013-14.

Lindenwood Notes
- Kendra Broad is seventh in the CHA in points, ninth in goals, and ninth in assists.

- Kendra Broad and Brooke Peden are among 11 players tied for first in the conference with three power-play points.

- Jocelyn Slattery is one of seven players in first in the CHA with two power-play goals.

- Brooke Peden is sixth in the conference in defenseman scoring with three points. Chelsea Witwicke and Carrie Atkinson are also in the top 10.

- Carrie Atkinson is first on the team and eighth in the CHA in freshman scoring with two points.

- Nicole Hensley is first in NCAA Division I with 284 saves on the season.

- Alexis Molotky played for the first time for Lindenwood in goal against Bemidji State. She did not allow a goal in 20 minutes and made 10 saves.

- Kendra Broad and Jordyn Constance are the only Lady Lions left who have played in all 73 games during the program's NCAA era. Eight players on this year's squad played in the inaugural game in Madison, Wis.

- Lindenwood has not allowed a power-play goal this year in the second game of a series. The Lady Lions are eight-for-19 on the penalty kill in game one of a series, and 14-for-14 in game two.

- The Lady Lions are allowing 3.0 goals a game when having four or fewer penalties in a game. They are allowing 5.5 goals a game when having six or penalties called against them.

- Lindenwood has scored five of its eight goals in the second period. The Lady Lions have not scored a third-period goal.

College Hockey America Notes
- One CHA team, Mercyhurst, is nationally-ranked. The Lakers are No. 8 in the USCHO.com poll and No. 9 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

- The CHA is 14-23-3 in non-conference action this season. Robert Morris has the best mark at 4-2-0, followed by Mercyhurst at 3-3-1.

- The CHA Players of the Week are: Mercyhurst's Emily Janiga (Player of the Week), Mercyhurst's Amanda Makela (Goalie of the Week), and Robert Morris' Jessica Dodds (Rookie of the Week).

About the Badgers
- Wisconsin is 4-2-0 on the season, with every game being a conference contest. The two losses were narrow defeats against defending national champion Minnesota.

- The Badgers are averaging 3.2 goals a game and allowing just 1.0 goal a contest.

- Wisconsin is converting on over 20 percent of its power-play chances. Its opponents are scoring on 12.5 percent of their power plays.

- Brittany Ammerman leads the team with five goals, five assists, and 10 points. Blayre Turnbull is second with eight points and tied for the team-high with five assists.

- Alex Rigsby has started five games in goal and has a 1.21 GAA and a .953 save percentage.

- Head coach of Wisconsin is Mark Johnson. He has a career record of 311-60-28 and has won four national championships.
