The Lindenwood field hockey team finished its regular season with a win over Dowling College 4-1 Sunday afternoon.

Senior Meredith Openlander continued her goal-scoring streak less than three minutes with her fourth goal in her last three games played. 

Senior forward Kristi O'Connor extended the Lady Lions' lead to 2-0 following a penalty corner attempt.  This was O'Connor's 18th goal on the season.  She now is in the top-five in goals in the nation. 

Tara Robben would make the score 3-0 late in the first half with a one-timer following a pass from Karlie Quinn.

O'Connor would get her second goal of the game and 19th of the season at the 61st minute mark to put the game out of reach.

Goalie Victoria Gil made two saves to earn her seventh win on the year.

This was the fourth straight victory improving the team's record to 7-8. Next up is the ECAC conference tournament at Hunter stadium Friday night.
