The postseason awards continue to roll in for the Lindenwood men's soccer team when the 2013 NSCAA NCAA Division II All-American teams were announced.
Mauricio Medina and
Aris Nukic were both named to the first-team while goalie
Fermin Hughes and defender
Rodney Mays were named to the third-team.
Medina and Nukic were the Lions top offensive threats. The duo combined to score 25 of Lindenwood's 48 goals, and had 18 of the team's 33 assists.
Hughes and Mays were the leaders of a solid defense for the Lions. The group gave up just 16 goals in 22 games and Hughes led the way with a save percentage of .817 and a GAA of 0.75.
The All-American honors were the first in the program's history at the NCAA Division II level. Lindenwood finished the season with a record of 18-1-3.
