On Tap For The Lindenwood Lions
• Lindenwood heads to the Carolinas for three non-conference matches against Belmont Abbey, Limestone, and Pfeiffer late in the week.
• The Lions will begin this road trip at Belmont Abbey on February 21 before traveling to Limestone on the 22nd and Pfeiffer on the 23rd.
• This is the last stretch of road games before the Lions return to the Hyland Arena floor as they are hosting the Lindenwood Classic on March 1 and 2.
• All three of Lindenwood's opponents this week are members of the Conference Carolinas.
About the Crusaders
• Belmont Abbey is in its first season in program history.
• Head coach Mary DeJute is one of two females at the helm of a collegiate men's volleyball team.
• Nolan Albrecht leads the Crusaders with 103 kills this season. He also is second on the team with 132 assists.
• Derek Sullivan is averaging 5.75 assists per set.
• Evan Young has recorded a team-high 23 block assists. He is third on the team with five solo blocks.

About the Saints
• Eric Zaun has recorded a team-high 92 kills at 2.56 kills per set this season. He also leads the team with 15 service aces.
• Eight members of the Limestone team average over a dig per set. Joe Gilliland leads the way with 108 total digs at 2.77 digs per set.
• Andrew Miller has recorded seven solo and 29 block assists this season.

About the Falcons
• Under the direction of first-year head coach Greg Walker, the Falcons have started this season with an 8-3 overall record and 7-1 record in conference play.
• Pfeiffer averaging 12.4 kills and 1.3 aces per set.
• Caleb Brophy is recording 3.79 kills per set to go with a .241 hitting percentage.
• David Specian, the team's primary setter, has recorded 365 out of the team's 418 assists this season.
• Fabio Diniz leads the team in blocks, recording nine solo and 26 block assists this season.

• Lindenwood looks to extend its winning streak to seven and to move above .500 for the first-time this season.

Tim Huizinga was named the MIVA Offensive Player of the Week. Huizinga is averaging 2.74 kills per set.

Tim Huizinga also is leading the conference in service aces per set. In 27 sets, he is averaging 0.63 aces per set.

Scott Siwicki is eighth in the conference in hitting percentage at a .321 clip.

Michael Adams leads the team with 103 kills. He averages 2.51 kills per set at a clip of .201.

Tim Schmidt, the Lions' primary setter, averages 9.62 assists per set. That mark puts him sixth in the conference in assists per set.

Cory Buehler is third in the conference in digs per set at a mark of 2.75.
• Lindenwood is seventh in both team hitting percentage and opponents hitting percentage. The Lions are hitting .208 so far this season and hold opposing teams to a .249 clip.
Last Time Out
• The Lions picked up a victory over MIVA member Quincy along with three, non-conference victories against Milwaukee School of Engineering, St. Xavier, and Carthage.
• Carthage was the No. 4 team in Division III and the Lions defeated the Red Men by a score of 3-2.

Tim Huizinga recorded 49 kills over the weekend and averaged just less than one service ace per set.

Colin Hackworth led the Lions in the match against Carthage, recording 17 kills.
• Lindenwood moved to 3-1 against non-conference opponents.
MIVA Conference
• Lindenwood is the eighth and newest member to the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association conference.
• The Lions were picked seventh in the MIVA preseason poll.
• Lindenwood has moved up to sixth in the MIVA after the 3-1 victory against Quincy. Lewis is on top of the leaderboard with a perfect 5-0 record in the MIVA as it is riding an eight-game winning streak.
• The Lions finished 3-6 against MIVA opponents last season, including 3-1 over the last four matches.
Next Up For The Lions
• Lindenwood will return to Hyland Arena to host the Lindenwood Classic on March 1 and 2. Four other programs will come to St. Charles, including Limestone.
• The Lions will play against Carthage at 4 p.m. on Friday. Then, at 7 p.m. the Lions will play King. Lindenwood's lone match on Saturday will be at 2 p.m. against Limestone.
