Box Score The Lindenwood men's volleyball team completed a perfect east coast trip on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Pfeiffer. The Lions went 3-0 on their trip and did not drop a set.
The Lions won thanks to their defense which held Pfeiffer to just .096 hitting. LIndenwood had 13 blocks and 31 digs in the match.
Logan Jarus led the team with six blocks and
Tim Schmidt had a team-high eight digs, one more than
David Poole.
Offensively, Lindenwood's starting middle hitters, Jarus and Siwicki, combined for 11 kills and a .455 hitting percentage.
Michael Adams and
Colin Hackworth each led Lindenwood with eight kills. Schmidt finished the match with 27 assists and
Tim Huizinga had two of Lindenwood's three service aces.
Lindenwood has now won seven straight and it is 8-6 on the season. The Lions return home next week for the annual Lindenwood Classic.
