Box Score The Lindenwood baseball team beat Mount Mercy 20-8 at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, Ill. on Monday.

The non-conference game was all Lindenwood from the start as the Lions scored 17 runs in the first three innings.

The Lindenwood bats were hot as they accounted for 19 hits, six doubles, two triples, and one homerun.

Mike Failoni continued his hitting streak to 15 games going two-for-two with his first triple of the season.  Kyle Leslie went two-for-two as well with both hits being doubles.

Colton Moore went two-for-two with a double and a homerun.  He also added five RBIs and scored two runs.
Mike Wilson led the team with three runs scored.  Seven Lions ended the game with two hits.

Austin Klein earned his second win of the year giving up just one hit in three innings of work.  Steffen Simmons threw four innings in relief allowing just three hits.

Dalton Woodard and Brendan Kleekamp threw an inning each of work to finish the game.

Lindenwood improves to 9-11 on the year and remain at 8-7 in the MIAA.  The Lions travel to Kirksville, Mo. on Thursday to take on Truman State for a doubleheader slated to start at 1 p.m.
