On Tap For The Lindenwood Lions
• Lindenwood will travel to Missouri Baptist for its final non-conference match of the season before hosting Lewis and Loyola-Chicago on back-to-back days this weekend.
• This will be the second time this season that the Lions will compete against Missouri Baptist, Lewis, and Loyola-Chicago. Lindenwood is looking for its first victory this season against all three schools.
• Lindenwood is 32-8 overall against the Spartans. When the two teams played earlier this season, Missouri Baptist won on the Hyland Arena floor, 3-2.
• The Lions are 1-6 overall against the Lewis Flyers, falling 3-0 on the road earlier this year.
• Loyola-Chicago has defeated Lindenwood all nine times the two squads have competed against each other, including a 3-0 victory earlier this season.
• The two conference games this weekend start the second half of the conference schedule for the Lions. Lindenwood will have five more games remaining this season after this weekend.
About the Spartans
• Against Lindenwood earlier this season, the Spartans won in five sets by scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, and 15-13.
• Gustavo Cintron led the team with 22 kills at a .450 hitting percentage.
• Robert Esser, the team's primary setter in the match, led the team with 53 assists.
• Three members of the Spartan squad recorded double-digit digs against the Lions. Danny Traylor led the team with 11.
• Missouri Baptist is 14-4 this season and currently ranked No. 2 in NAIA.
About the Flyers
• Under the direction of Dan Friend, the Lewis Flyers are 15-6 overall and own an 8-1 mark in the MIVA conference.
• The Flyers are averaging 12.1 kills per set as well as 1.0 service aces per set.
• Geoff Powell has played in all 21 matches and all but one set for the Flyers this season. He leads the team with 3.81 kills per set.
• BJ Boldog owns 810 out of the team's 892 assists.
About the Ramblers
• Loyola-Chicago is 13-8 overall and has a mark of 4-3 in the MIVA.
• Shane Davis is in his 10th season at the helm of the Ramblers.
• The Ramblers are hitting .291 as a team while holding their opponents to a .237 clip.
• With 277 kills this season, Joseph Smalzer is one of the primary threats on offense.

• Lindenwood suffered a setback last week as its 15-match winning streak was snapped by NAIA No. 1 Park at the Quincy Crossover.
• The Lions picked up a perfect sweep over schools in the Conference Carolinas after defeating Lees-McRae and Erskine 3-0.

Scott Siwicki is leading the conference in hitting percentage with a mark of .428.
• Three Lindenwood players are in the conference top-10 in service aces per set.

MIVA Conference
• Lindenwood is the eighth and newest member to the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association conference.
• The Lions were picked seventh in the MIVA preseason poll. Lewis and Loyola-Chicago were picked number one and two in the preseason poll.
• The Lions finished 3-6 against MIVA opponents last season, including 3-1 over the last four matches.
