Box Score The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team fell to No. 7 Seton Hill on Friday night at Hunter Stadium by a 12-6 margin.
The Lions won the first 30 minutes of the contest with a big second quarter. After trailing 1-0 after one period, Lindenwood outscored the Griffins by a 5-3 margin in the second quarter. Down 2-0, the Lions scored four straight goals in less than five minutes sparked by a man-down goal by
John Pettis. Seton Hill came back and tied the game at four, but
Graeme Hossack put Lindenwood ahead with a goal before halftime.
Seton Hill's defense took over in the second half. Lindenwood scored its final goal of the game with 6:35 remaining in the third quarter. The Griffins would score the final six goals of the contest, including running up the score with three tallies in the final two minutes.
Lindenwood outshot Seton Hill 44-43 and both teams had 24 shots on goal. The Griffins had six more saves though. Seton Hill finished with five man-up goals, compared to only one for Lindenwood. The Lions were called for seven more penalties in the game.
The Lions had a balanced scoring effort with six players scoring one goal.

Andrew Peterson each had two points with one goal and one assist.
Graeme Hossack was the top defender on the field for both teams with eight groundballs and three caused turnovers.
Dan Ashlock took the loss in goal, making 12 saves and allowing 12 goals.
Lindenwood falls to 5-4 overall and 1-3 in ECAC play. The Lions will be in action again on Tuesday at home against Colorado Mesa.
