Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Lindenwood Lady Lions softball team dropped a pair of games to the Fontbonne Griffins on Wednesday night in St. Charles. Fontbonne won game one 8-5 and game two 2-0 in extra innings.

The Lady Lions jumped out to an early lead when the team scored a pair of runs in the bottom if the second inning. That lead lasted until the fifth inning when the Fontbonne bats woke up. The Griffins scored seven runs in the inning to take a 7-2 lead.

Fontbonne added a run in the sixth to extend the lead to 8-2. Lindenwood tried to put a comeback together in the seventh but only mustered three runs and fell 8-5.
