Box Score The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team continued its recent scoring surge with a 23-3 rout over Alderson-Broaddus on Thursday evening. The Lions have now scored 48 times over their last two ECAC contests.
Lindenwood outshot the Battlers by a 52-24 margin and also had 15 more groundballs. The Lions were 20-of-26 on faceoffs and were a perfect 11-of-11 on clearing attempts, compared to 11-of-21 for Alderson-Broaddus.
Brandon Stuebing led the team's scoring with five goals and one assist.
Andrew Peterson had three goals and two assists, and
Greg Cameron found the back of the net four times.
Joe Roy,
Mike Meagher,
Tim Fisher, and
Brett Morrison all had two goals, and
Jon George assisted on three goals.
Adam Ure picked up the win in goal after making seven saves in a little over three quarters of play.
Michael Helfant had a team-high 12 groundballs and he won 16-of-21 faceoffs.
Graeme Hossack added nine groundballs and a team-high four caused turnovers.
Lindenwood improves to 8-4 on the season and 3-3 in ECAC play. The Lions will stay in West Virginia until Saturday when they face Wheeling Jesuit.
