Women's Soccer Drops Game on Friday 2-1

Box Score The Lady Lions soccer team fell to Southwest Minnesota State University on Friday by a tally of 2-1.

Lindenwood fell behind halfway through the first half 1-0. The chances were even throughout the game as the Lady Lions had a 9-8 shot advantage through one half of play.

In the 61st minute Kirsten Crabtree set up freshman Kat Roe for a header to tie the game at 1-1. Roe now has three goals in as many games played. Southwest Minnesota scored in the 84th minute to take the lead and their fourth victory of the year. Bailey Tracy played all 90 minutes and made eight saves.

Lindenwood falls to 2-2-0 on the year. The Lady Lions will be in action on Sunday when they take on Sioux Falls in South Dakota at 1 p.m.
