Lindenwood field hockey dropped its third straight game Friday afternoon losing 5-2 on the road against No. 6 ranked Limestone College.

The Saints spent no time getting command of the match.  Within the first minute of the game Limestone scored two quick goals to take the two goal lead. 

Limestone would add two more goals before the half.  However, the Lady Lions did answer back.

Kristi O'Connor provided a bright spot for the Lady Lions scoring twice bringing her season total to five.  O'Connor also racked up eight of the teams' 13 shots.

An early Saints second-half goal sealed the victory for the home team.  This was the fourth ranked opponent played by Lindenwood this season.

The Lady Lions' record sits at 1-5 this season.  Next up for Lindenwood is a game tomorrow afternoon on the road against Newberry College at noon.
