The Lindenwood field hockey team fell to No.4 Millersville 7-0 Friday afternoon in Millersville, Pa. The road game was the team's first of two on back-to-back days against top four opponents.

Millersville first goal came 20 minutes into the game to put the Lady Lions behind. Lindenwood would concede two more goals in the first half from 15 shots from the Marauders.

Lindenwood would see its deficit increase after giving up four more goals in the second half on 16 shots.

The one bright spot for the Lady Lions was goaltender Victoria Gil who saved 24 of Millersville's 31 shots.

Next up for Lindenwood is a Saturday afternoon matchup at No.1 ranked and defending national champion West Chester.
