Series Notes- Lindenwood women's hockey has its final tuneup this weekend before the start of conference play. The Lady Lions will take on Minnesota Duluth in a two-game series on Saturday and Sunday. The series will be played at Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minn.

- Lindenwood is 1-3-0 on the season. The Lady Lions split a series last time out against St. Cloud State. They lost the opener by a 2-0 score, but bounced back to win the second game by a 5-3 margin.

- Minnesota Duluth is 2-4-2 on the year, including a 1-4-1 mark in WCHA play. Last weekend, the Bulldogs split a series with North Dakota. They lost the opening by a 2-1 score but shut out North Dakota in game two by a 1-0 margin.

- Lindenwood and Minnesota Duluth will be meeting for the first time in program history. After this weekend, the Lady Lions will have played every WCHA team except for Minnesota.

- Lindenwood picked up the first win in program history over a WCHA team last time out with its win over St. Cloud State.

- Lindenwood and St. Cloud State have one common opponent this season. Both teams lost two games to the No. 1 team in NCAA Division I, Wisconsin. The Lady Lions lost by scores of 5-1 and 6-0, while St. Cloud State fell by margins of 4-1 and 6-2.

Lindenwood Notes- Lindenwood was shut out in the opening game of the St. Cloud State series by a 2-0 margin. The Huskies scored a late goal in both the first and third periods for the win.
Nicole Hensley made 45 saves and allowed just the two goals, both on the power play.

- The Lady Lions got in the win column with a 5-3 victory over St. Cloud State in the second game of that series. Lindenwood scored three straight at one point and held on late for the victory.

Shara Jasper and
Katie Erickson both had one goal and one assist in the second game of that series. Both skaters now lead the team with three points on the year, and they are fifth in the CHA in points per game.

Katie Erickson is tied for third with 0.50 assists a game.

- Four Lindenwood freshmen recorded their first collegiate point in the St. Cloud State series. Only one other CHA team has more freshmen with points this far in 2014-15.

- Among those freshmen recording points,
Britannia Gillanders scored an empty-net goal to seal the team's game two win.
Sarah Bobrowski,
Tae Otte, and
Emily Gunderson all had assists, including Gunderson assisting on the game-winning goal.

Leah Elledge recorded the game-winning goal against St. Cloud State. It was also her first collegiate goal.

Katie Erickson became the first Lindenwood player in program history to play in 100 games. Her milestone appearance came in game one of the St. Cloud State series.
Alyssa West quickly joined that club in game two of the series.

Jordyn Constance currently has 98 games played and could become the third member of the Lindenwood 100-game club this week.

Alyssa West recorded two assists in the victory over St. Cloud State. She now has 35 career assists which is first in the Lindenwood record books. She has 57 points and needs four more to tie the all-time record in that category.

Nicole Hensley had another strong series in goal against St. Cloud State, saving 93.3 percent of the shots she faced. She has recorded over 40 saves in three of the four games this year.

- Two Lindenwood skaters currently have a positive plus/minus.
Katie Nokelby leads the team with a +2, including a +3 last time out.
Leah Elledge is a +1 on the season.

- Seven different Lady Lions had a positive plus/minus for the St. Cloud State series, and just one had a negative for those two games.

Katie Erickson scored the team's first power-play goal of the season. She now has recorded 16 power-play points out of her 29 total career points.

- Lindenwood has scored half of its goals in the first period this year. The team's three goals ties for the most by a CHA squad this year for the first period.

- The Lady Lions have allowed just two goals in the second period. That also ties for the conference lead for fewest goals allowed in that time frame.

- Lindenwood plays a rare Sunday game in the upcoming series. It is 2-3-1 all-time in games played on Sunday.

- Lindenwood begins College Hockey America play on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 with a two-game series at defending CHA Playoff Champion, RIT.
