David Cochrane led the Lions by winning both the one-meter and three-meter diving events. He posted a national qualifying score on the one-meter with a score of 313.50, and he won the three-meter with a mark of 283.15.
Schyler Hohenberger had two top-five finishes. He was fourth in the three-meter dive with a score of 235.15, and was fifth in the one-meter by recording a 236.90. The final men's diver was
Jacob Damti who was sixth in the one-meter (199.40), and seventh in the three-meter (71.55).
The women's team was led by the duo of
Carleen Wayne and
Shelby Werkema. Wayne was runner-up in both events while Werkema was third in the two competitions. Wayne had scores of 256.05 on the one-meter and 231.70 in the three-meter. Werkema's marks were 253.50 in the one-meter and 227.75 in the three-meter.
The Lindenwood swimming and diving program will be in action again on Dec. 13-15 at the Delta State Christmas Invitational.
