Series Notes
- Lindenwood opens up 2015 this weekend with a two-game non-conference series against Bemidji State. The two teams will play at 7 p.m. on Friday evening and at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

- Lindenwood enters play this week with a 5-10-1 overall record. The Lady Lions have not played since Dec. 5-6 when they were swept in a two-game CHA series at Mercyhurst. Lindenwood ended the first half of conference play with a 4-5-1 mark, and it currently sits in fourth place.

- Bemidji State is 11-8-1 overall and ranked ninth in both NCAA Division I national polls. The Beavers are currently 7-8-1 in the WCHA. Bemidji State has lost three straight games, including being swept by Ohio State on Dec. 19-20. The Beavers are currently fifth in the WCHA standings.

- Bemidji State leads the all-time series against Lindenwood by a 4-0-1 mark. Last season, the Beavers went 3-0-1 against the Lady Lions. Lindenwood and Bemidji State will be meeting at the Lindenwood Ice Arena for the first time. The previous meeting in Missouri took place at the St. Peters Rec-Plex and resulted in one Bemidji State win and one tie.

- Lindenwood is 0-4-0 against nationally-ranked teams this season, with two losses apiece against Wisconsin and Mercyhurst.

- The Lady Lions are 1-5-0 against members of the WCHA in 2014-15. Their 5-3 win over St. Cloud State was the program's first win over a WCHA program.

Lindenwood Notes
- In game one of the Mercyhurst series, Lindenwood allowed the final four goals in a 6-2 loss. The Lakers scored four power-play goals, one shorthanded goal, and an empty-net score.

- In game two of that series, the two teams were tied 2-2 after two periods, but Mercyhurst scored three third-period goals in a 5-2 Lindenwood loss.

- Sarah McGall earned her first two collegiate starts in goal against Mercyhurst. She made 33 saves in the first game and 15 in game two of the series.

- Allyssa West led the offense against Mercyhurst with one goal and two assists. She had a goal and assist in the opener, and assisted on the second goal in game two of the series. West is tied for the team lead with eight assists, and is second with 10 points.

- Jordyn Constance had a goal in each game of the Mercyhurst series. She is now tied for the team-high in goals this season with seven.

- Shara Jasper had two assists in the Mercyhurst series. She is tied with a team-high eight assists on the season, and leads the team with 15 points. Jasper is also tied for the team-high with seven goals.

- Three Lindenwood players had a positive plus/minus against Mercyhurst. Katie Nokelby, Brooke Peden, and Rachel Weich were all +1 in those two games.

- Shara Jasper is currently ranked fifth in the CHA in points per game. She is also sixth in goals per game and assists per game.

- Jordyn Constance is sixth in the CHA in goals per game, and Alyssa West is sixth in assists per game.

- Shara Jasper is tied for third in the league with six power-play points. She has one goal and five assists. Alyssa West is tied for tenth with five power-play points. Jordyn Constance is fourth in the CHA with three power-play goals.

- Britannia Gillanders ranks eighth in the CHA in freshman scoring. She has five points with two goals and three assists.

- Goalie Nicole Hensley currently ranks fifth in the CHA with a 2.73 GAA and a .921 save percentage.

- Lindenwood is off to its best CHA and overall start in program history in 2014-15. The Lady Lions have already matched last year's win total, and needs just two wins to match its most NCAA Division I wins in a season.

- Nicole Hensley has made 128 saves in four previous starts against Bemidji State. She has a .907 save percentage in those games.

- Two current Lindenwood players have scored against Bemidji State with Brooke Peden and Katie Erickson each having one goal. While a member of Minnesota Duluth, Shara Jasper played Bemidji State eight times, and had two assists and a +6 plus/minus.

- First-year Lindenwood head coach Scott Spencer started his coaching career at Bemidji State. He was a men's assistant for the Beavers from 2003-2006, and helped the program win two CHA regular season championships, two CHA tournament championships, and two NCAA Division I Tournament appearances.

- Lindenwood has a three-game home series against Minnesota State next week. The two teams will play on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 10, at 3 p.m.
