Box Score The Lindenwood men's volleyball team could not slow IPFW's offense on Friday night on Hyland Arena as the Lions winning streak ended with a 25-23, 27-25, and 25-22 loss.
IPFW hit .343 for the match and had three players record double-figure kills for the match. Lindenwood's streak of hitting over .300 ended as it recorded a .258 mark and had nine less kills than the Mastodons.
All five of Lindenwood's starting hitters had at least six kills in the match, led by
Colin Hackworth with 10.
Kyle Overby had nine kills and hit .368 for the match.
Logan Jarus had a team-high .500 hitting percentage and seven kills.
Tim Schmidt had 32 assists,
David Poole recorded 10 digs, and
Zach Bequette and Overby each had a team-high four blocks.
Lindenwood falls to 8-3 on the season and 3-2 in the MIVA. The Lions are in action again on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. against Ball State.
