Box Score The Lindenwood men's volleyball team and No. 13 Ball State played four close sets on Friday night in Muncie, Ind. The Cardinals came out ahead in three of those sets as they defeated the Lions by scores of 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, and 25-22.
 
Both teams struggled offensively as Lindenwood hit under .200 and Ball State hit just .225. The Lions had 12 blocks and 44 digs, while Ball State had 10 blocks and 53 digs.
 
Kyle Overby had a big match for Lindenwood with a double-double of 20 kills and 12 digs. He led Lindenwood in both of those categories. Scott Siwicki finished with 10 kills and had a team-high .350 hitting percentage. Tim Schmidt had 47 assists and Zach Bequette led the team with seven blocks. David Poole had double-figure digs with 11.
 
Lindenwood concludes its regular season on Saturday at IPFW.
